Information is given on the lithogeochemical features of sandstones and clayey rocks composing the sedimentary sequences of the Yuryuzano-Sylvinskaya and Belskaya depressions of the Cis-Ural trough. It is shown that the chemical composition of sandstones corresponds to typical greywackes and Fe-sandstones. Comparison of variations in the content of the main rock-forming oxides in psammites of different stages of the Carboniferous and Permian revealed the existence of multidirectional trends and the asynchrony of a number of the brightest peaks, reflecting the specifics of the development of individual basins of the trough.
